Past experience:

Dr. Madeleine Gayler completed her medical degree at Notre Dame University in Fremantle in 2012, and since then has worked in a number of hospitals all over Perth, both public and private.

Madeleine has primarily worked in Geriatrics, General Medicine, Older Adult Mental Health, and Emergency Medicine. She most recently worked in the Neonatal Unit at Fiona Stanley Hospital, which in conjunction with having her own children, has confirmed her interest in working with new babies and parents. 

Prior to studying medicine, Madeleine did an Arts degree in Melbourne, majoring in Archeology and Anthropology, which she then followed up with a secondary teaching diploma.

Madeleine has recently returned from maternity leave, and with two young children is kept very busy at home! She also loves singing and gardening, and is very excited to be joining Queensgate Medical Centre. 

Madeleine is interested in all aspects of General Practice, but particularly in: 

• Breastfeeding medicine

• Geriatric medicine

• General medicine
