Dr. Jackline Oku graduated from The University of Notre Dame in Fremantle. Since graduation, she has gained a wealth of experience working in several hospitals across New South Wales. She has further expanded her expertise with a Postgraduate Diploma in Child Health from Westmead, Sydney, and a Master’s in Public Health.

As a GP, Dr. Oku values the continuity of care and the long-term relationships she builds with her patients. She takes a holistic approach to her practice, prioritising time to listen to her patients without judgment and providing comprehensive care.

 

In particular, she has a special interest in evidence-based medicine, sexual and reproductive health, IUD (Intrauterine Device) insertion and removal, Implanon insertion and removal, minor skin procedures, iron infusions and cosmetic medicine.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Oku enjoys traveling, engaging in sports, listening to jazz music, and unwinding with a good book. She is fluent in Afrikaans and loves spending time with her beautiful friends and family.
